Position the Chimenea outdoors, in the iron stand.

Before firing, place 3 to 4 inches of lava rock, sand or gravel inside the base of Chimenea to raise fire off clay bottom.

It is important to remember to never use a Chimenea if it is wet. Never spray water on a hot Chimenea as well.

Always warm up the Chimenea slowly – First build a small fire, allowing the Chimenea to heat up for at least 20 minutes to avoid cracking.
